Catfish are considered trash fish but I am a Southern girl and know they are good eating! Today, I’m pretty sure, I caught my personal best Sailcat (ocean catfish) at Fort Clinch State Park on Amelia Island. The fishing conditions were not great as storms were rolling through Northeast Florida all day and even though I love an adrenaline rush, lightning is serious so we packed up quickly. Nonetheless, a bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work!
